CodXCrypt Campus Ambassador was an amazing experience. This is my first internship and my first experience with students across many campuses.
Entering the Internship
CodXCrypt is an emerging open-source community that helps students in projects and open sourcing. I did not have any interview rounds but I was selected as one of the 35 campus ambassadors. We had an opening ceremony, where we were explained all the needed and to-do tasks.
Working as a CA
CA is a short term we use for the Campus Ambassadors. We were first asked to make a Whatsapp group with our campus students. We were also asked to post our campus ambassador update in our social handles.
After this, everyone had brainstorming ideas. We put them together and made a plan to work it out.
Content Writer
I suggested creating a new social handle for articles. And Voila! CodXCrypt created an account on Medium. This made way for me to write articles. My first ever article was published in CodXCrypt. I learnt a lot of insights on how to draft and frame an article. This was a new skill that was added to my skill set.
No Code No Fun
What is a community without coding challenges ? That’s a lantern without light.
The beauty of a lantern is seen when the lantern burns.
So, we conducted a coding quest in CodXCrypt using the platform CodeChef. That was amazing. We also conducted an Open-Source Celebration Day which was one of a kind fun event. We were also in the CodXCrypt Guild in the Local Hack Day (MLH)
Member Opportunity
I was so happy when CodXCrypt showed it’s vacant positions. I happily filled for the Technical Team Member Position and the Social Media & PR Handler Position. Now, I stand as an Elite Member in the CodXCrypt Community.
